If there's anything the happiest place on earth has, aside from amazing sights, sounds, and rides, it's special deals and discounts on Disney ticket prices. There are many ways to get special value on actual rates - here are some of them.

1. Use whatever leftover, unexpired days you have on your Walt Disney World ticket in Disneyland. Simply present your ticket upon arrival - they'll take it with them somewhere, take a day off it, and then give you a 1-day Park Hopper ticket for Disneyland. Repeat the process every day until you've used up your Disney World tickets.

2. You can't get discounts on 1-day Disney ticket prices. There are exemptions to this rule, however, and they cover advance purchases of tickets

- sold for students, through universities
- by teachers
- by employees of certain government agencies and corporations in Southern California
- through the base offices of MWR (these offer military discounts).

3. Certain travel agencies have special deals with Disney. ARES Travel, for instance offers discounted Park Hopper admissions, but you will need to order at least two days before your visit. You will also need to pay a convenience fee of $1.25 per ticket.

4. Some Safeway shops in Northern California and its neighboring states offer discounted prices for advance purchases.

5. Some resorts offer discounts if you stay with them during your vacation. Be sure to check if this deal is available in the resort you're thinking of staying in.

6. Disney occasionally throws promos for residents of Southern California and Northern Baja. Your discount would have to be within the range of 90000 to 93599 and 21000 to 22999. You will also need to present an ID (with your photo on it) during your purchase and when you enter the park.
